Willoughby Theatre Company’s production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast (11–26 April 2026) brings the beloved Broadway classic to life at The Concourse, Chatswood, featuring enchanted music by Alan Menken and lyrics by Howard Ashman with additional songs by Tim Rice.
The community cast stars Molly Owen as Belle, the curious and courageous young woman who dreams of adventure, and Tom Kelly as the Beast, the cursed prince whose heart begins to soften as they embark on a transformative journey together.
Supporting performances include Caleb Hamwood as Gaston, Sam Dobb as LeFou, Jerome Studdy as Lumière, Luke Davis as Cogsworth, Emily Kimpton as Mrs. Potts, and Mia Manion and Darcy Hottes as Chip, bringing the vibrant villagers and enchanted objects to life. Under the direction of Court Cassar with musical direction by Peter Hayward and choreography by Sally Dangar, this magical telling of courage, love and inner beauty invites audiences of all ages to rediscover why true beauty lies within.
