It’s a milestone night for Mandy (Tong), as she prepares to close the doors on her cherished karaoke bar with a one-night-only reunion extravaganza. But when the spirits of her mother and grandmother unexpectedly appear, Mandy’s carefully crafted plans are thrown into chaos. She must navigate the past, confront her family’s legacy, and carve her own path forward.

Directed by former STC Resident Artist and La Boite Artistic Director Courtney Stewart (The Poison of Polygamy), and featuring a dazzling cast including Zac Boulton, Kimie Tsukakoshi, and Seong Hui Xuan, Congratulations, Get Rich! brings together three formidable women across different generations, whose stories collide in song, showmanship, and spirited karaoke battles.

Equal parts heartfelt family drama and supernatural spectacle, this international co-production with La Boite Theatre and Singapore Repertory Theatre blurs the line between the living and the afterlife. It’s a joyful, funny, and utterly unrestrained celebration of life, love, and the ties that bind us across time.
