Garden of Sound tells the tale of two devoted gardeners, Dag and Dug, who are determined to restore their once-vibrant sonic garden. Dag thrives in chaos, while Dug prefers strict order – putting them at odds until they enlist the help of Young People to uncover the garden’s lost sounds.
This inventive production is designed for children and their families, combining motion-capture technology with a video-game engine to build an immersive, interactive soundscape. After the performance, the cast shifts into facilitators, inviting everyone to step into the digital garden and experiment with its sound world.
Blending storytelling with hands-on participation, Garden of Sound transforms movement into music as the Gardeners create a living symphony among unseen trees.
