Rothar
Theatre becomes pure play in this inventive, pedal-powered adventure from Ireland.
At the tiny bicycle shop on the edge of town, whole worlds are waiting to unfold.
Miquel and Moisés show up for another day in the repair shop, but it quickly transforms into a playground for their imaginations. As the two boys conjure stories, spark delight, and turn everyday objects into passports to far-off places, they set off on journeys that exist only in dreams.
With Branar’s beautiful design, lively physical storytelling, and the boundless magic of play, this production invites us to see just how far creativity can carry us.
Take a fantastical ride through the imagination with Rothar.
Rothar is created in association with Drama at the University of Galway and the Baboró International Arts Festival for Children, as part of Creative Europe’s Mapping Project.
