Everywhere they go, kids run into a chorus of “no,” “not yet,” and “maybe later.” THE CENSOR flips the script. This sharp, timely production hands young people the reins, inviting them to decide what they read, watch and play, and how they want to engage with the media that surrounds them.
Co-created by acclaimed theatre-makers Cassandra Fumi and Vidya Rajan alongside a powerhouse ensemble of children, THE CENSOR is a breath of liberation for any kid tired of being overruled. Adults are invited, of course, but proceed with caution: this time, the kids call the shots. And who knows what you might learn when the usual order is turned inside out?
