Join Ratty, Mole, Badger, Otter, Portly and the ever-mischievous Mr Toad this summer as Kenneth Grahame’s beloved riverbank tale comes alive in Sydney’s Royal Botanic Garden from Wednesday 7 January to Sunday 25 January 2026.
This much-loved outdoor theatre experience is filled with music, songs and plenty of laughter.

The Head Chief Rabbit welcomes everyone by turning the audience into rabbits with a playful twitch of the ears and a wiggle of the nose. Young “rabbits” are invited to jump into the fun – shouting, singing and joining the adventure at every opportunity. With surprises and humour for both kids and grown-ups, it’s interactive theatre at its most delightful.
