The Housemaid (2025)
Paul Feig directs The Housemaid, which follows Sydney Sweeney as Millie Calloway – a troubled young woman who accepts a live-in maid position with a wealthy family as a chance to escape her past. What begins as a dream job for Millie quickly turns into a nightmare when she uncovers that her employers’ seemingly perfect life is riddled with dark secrets, manipulation and dangerous power plays. The household – including Amanda Seyfried as Nina Winchester and Brandon Sklenar as her husband Andrew – ensnares Millie in a seductive, psychological game where trust and truth prove deadly. Other major players in the ensemble include Michele Morrone and Elizabeth Perkins, contributing to the film’s tense, layered dynamics. The film is produced by Paul Feig, Todd Lieberman and Laura Allen Fischer under Feigco Entertainment / Hidden Pictures and is distributed by Lionsgate.
