Woolworths Bricks
Woolworths’ New Bricks Promo with a Cricket Twist – Everything you need to know
Heads up, families — Woolworths is rolling out a fresh twist on a fan-favourite promotion. From 28 January 2026, the retailer is bringing back its popular Bricks collectible series, and this year’s edition celebrates something very Aussie: backyard cricket.
For the first time, shoppers can collect 40 unique Woolworths Bricks inspired by everyday life at home — pantry staples, household items, pets and family characters — plus accessories that bring the spirit of cricket into the set. That includes miniature cricket stumps and even a recycling bin stump, evoking the classic suburban game played in driveways across the country.
The collection also introduces a new character, Laura, a girl inspired by the Woolworths Cricket Blast program, which encourages kids to get active and involved in cricket from a young age. Woolworths’ connection to grassroots cricket, through its long-standing partnership with Cricket Australia, means this Bricks range isn’t just fun — it reflects a broader commitment to community sport and family play.
Collecting Bricks is simple: you score one pack for every $30 spent in Woolworths stores or online — and bonus packs are up for grabs when you buy select participating brands. Families can also buy extra packs like the Home Starter Pack, Delivery Truck or Pets Pack to expand their builds even further. Your mini home can turn into a full neighbourhood with a backyard cricket pitch!
What makes Woolworths Bricks stand out is how it combines play, imagination and family time with everyday errands. Kids get to build, display and trade while parents enjoy the nostalgia — and this year’s cricket theme makes it even more Aussie-centric. Game on!
And when the novelty eventually wears off and the little bricks start piling up at home, there’s a simple way to give them a second life. Woolworths has confirmed that Bricks Home sets can be returned to stores up until 31 March 2026, where they’ll be collected and recycled through iQRenew — helping keep the fun going without adding to landfill.
(NB: Woolworths Bricks are all compatible with all Lego® branded bricks).
