Rental Family (2025)
Rental Family follows an American actor living in Japan who works for a unique agency that provides “rental families” to lonely clients. Brendan Fraser’s character takes on various roles in people’s lives, from friend to relative, blurring the lines between performance and reality. As he spends more time with certain clients, he forms real emotional connections he didn’t expect. The film explores themes of human connection, loneliness, and the unexpected ways we find family in modern life.
